One of our core values is listening. We might be the experts, but we don’t let our egos get in the way of great design. We’ve found that listening to everyone throughout the design process—especially our clients—yields better and more diverse solutions.
There are no cookie cutter solutions here. We make the process as easy as possible for our clients. That’s why every project is led by a leadership team of two consisting of a Principal and a Project Manager / Project Architect.
When desired and often with corporate clients, we hold collaborative design meetings called Charrettes specifically tailored to the project and the client. These Charrettes can add structure and accelerate the design process. Multiple design iterations, revisions and meetings are included as needed.
We strive to work quickly keeping your project on track. Generally, every 1 to 2 weeks throughout the design phase, we meet and provide updated drawings.
Compliance with all codes and community guidelines including requested revisions from review agencies and community committees is included.
We want our designs to be practical and believe that high quality and successful projects are developed by balancing the practical issues of livability, buildability and cost-consciousness with innovative design. Here, our diverse experience and relationship with Dossey|Sudik Structural Engineering yields many benefits.
A key member of our team is our dedicated Q.C. manager Mike Weigel. Together with the project leadership team, Mike helps ensure high quality and consistent project documentation.
Even when the contract doesn’t include Godden|Sudik’s formal involvement in the Construction Phase, it is our pleasure to offer a complementary “frame walk” to review the project’s design intent and resolve any unforeseen issues.
